Active Vista

Active Vista is an alternative centre for human rights education. Established by DAKILA, a collective of artists creatively sparking consciousness formation towards social transformation, Active Vista organises the biggest human rights film festival in the Philippines and utilises art, media and culture in popularising human rights.

Involvement in film

The Active Vista International Human Rights Film Festival screens human rights films coupled with discussions in schools and communities in key regional cities in the Philippines. It conducts advocacy filmmaking workshops, holds short film competitions, produces short films and organises forums for public education on pressing social issues and concerns.

We can only do what we do because of organisations and individuals who support our work.
Thank you everyone.
