Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program

Sundance Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to the discovery and development of independent artists and audiences. Through its programs, the Institute seeks to discover, support, and inspire independent film and theatre artists from the United States and around the world and to introduce audiences to their new work.

Involvement in film

Sundance Institute's Documentary Fund grants up to two million dollars per year to support U.S. and international independent documentary films. Awarded on a rolling basis, the Documentary Fund generally reviews 1,500 proposals annually and grants awards to 40-50 projects to filmmakers around the world.

We can only do what we do because of organisations and individuals who support our work.
Thank you everyone.
