The Center for Constitutional Rights

CCR was born out of an American tradition of using the law to advance social change and support efforts to remedy social injustice and human rights abuses. The Center was created in 1966, at the height of the U.S. Civil Rights Movement to work with -- and within -- that movement, to put America’s system of racial segregation on trial.
