Florence Martin-Kessler

I am a French documentary filmmaker who have worked out of Bombay, New York and Paris. I have just finished a year as a Nieman Fellow in Journalism at Harvard University, and I teach a workshop at the Paris University Sciences Po on storytelling in documentary.

My documentaries, including Manhattan Charity, an inside look at philanthropy, The Man with Golden Cells, exploring the worldwide trade surrounding the human body and The Caste Struggle, on modern Indian democracy, have been commissioned by Arte and broadcast internationally. I have also contributed to the inventive short documentary series Cut Up (Quark/Arte), that aired both on television and the Internet.

We can only do what we do because of organisations and individuals who support our work.
Thank you everyone.
