Shruti Sengupta

Shruti wishes she was a filmmaker by profession but in reality she is a filmmaker by occasion. Her documentary Six Sacred Days is a happy tale of Sex Workers of Sonagachi fighting for their right to hold their own Durga festival and winning. She writes, assists, and directs whenever providence has her in sight. On other occasions, she retreats to the shell she came from, and binges on British Tv shows. At Good Pitch India, she works as Systems Manager, to make sure we got the facts right (grammatically too!).

We can only do what we do because of organisations and individuals who support our work.
Thank you everyone.
