Good Pitch Local is coming to Philadelphia. A day-long networking event showcasing short-form non-fiction media projects that are deeply relevant to Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. An opportunity for organizers to connect with media makers within their communities in a model of radical creative collaboration.

Who attends Good Pitch Local?

Local Activists, Brands, Educators, Filmmakers, Foundations, Nonprofits, Lawyers, Media makers, Media Platforms, Philanthropists, Policymakers, Press and more.

How does it work?

We invite ideas to be pitched not just by creatives or journalists looking for partners but also by community organisers & educators who are at the heart of stories that need telling. Over the day up to 20 three minute presentations will be heard and the whole room will discuss how they can help.

Sharing access to resources that support creation, distribution and outreach for the media projects. Offering financial resource often in the form of micro-grants of $500 - $1,000. Suggesting partnerships that can strengthen campaigns and movements. Donating time and expertise to one another.

Together we can raise up the stories that matter in Philadelphia by the artists and organisers who know best. Good Pitch Local is an invitation event that is free to all participants. The day includes light refreshments and complimentary networking lunch.
