Addressing the barriers of denial, silence, shame & stigma that have led to one in two children experiencing sexual abuse in India, The Rakshin Raidrr, through its series of six animated short films simplifies the five roles of being a Rakshin: Recognizing, Identifying, Addressing, De-escalating, Reporting and Resolving Child Sexual Abuse within families & communities. The films serve to educate the youth as active bystanders and stress upon the significance of making homes a safe space for open and judgement-free dialogue. Lastly, they emphasise the raging need to invest in Prevention and build a culture of accountability.
