In 2014, Geovane, a young resident of the suburban Salvador, Brazil, was taken by a Military Police vehicle in broad daylight and disappeared. After an investigation conducted by the father himself and the local newspaper, the body was found quartered. The investigative narrative stitches the plot and the search for the historical and sociological roots of police violence.
